EXPERIENCE

Daniel H. Kennedy, III is an attorney with Heneghan, Kennedy & Doyle, L.L.C. He primarily practices in the areas of matrimonial and family law, business, and general litigation. He frequently appears in Connecticut Superior Courts and Appellate Court on behalf of clients. Within the scope of business law, he serves as outside general counsel to several businesses in the Hartford area including Heritage Drywall, LLC.

Attorney Kennedy III previously worked in San Francisco, California, handling commercial real estate, business matters, and complex litigation. He is also partner/general counsel to several entrepreneurial companies, including Crown Street Holdings, LLC, a private equity real estate company.

Attorney Kennedy III serves as a Special Master in the Superior Court system, assisting in the settlement of disputed divorce matters. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Hartford County Bar Association. Further, he is on the Board of Directors of the Bushnell Park Foundation; was appointed by the Hartford City Council to the Young Professionals Task Force; sits on the Hartford Hospital Young Leaders Advisory Board, and is the President of the Georgetown University Alumni Club of Hartford.

Attorney Kennedy was selected by Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in Connecticut law for the years 2010 and 2011. Less than 2.5% of attorneys under 40 years of age were selected for the honor. Further, in 2011 he was selected by the Hartford Business Journal as one of the top 40 business people under the age of 40.
